I was tired of just seeing nothing but etudes on my front page!
This is a performance from my orchestra, from some time ago. It's a sort of rarely-performed piece by Respighi (better known for "The Pines of Rome").
"Trittico Botticelliano" means "Botticelli Triptych" or "Three Botticelli Pictures." The first movement is a musical representation of the painting "Spring."
See and read about the painting here.
This is a live performance recording- it's sadly not perfect as we didn't get to record over and over until it was exactly right.
As usual, this is my orchestra- when you hear the clarinet playing, that's me. This is my recording, too- it was given to me for free and is not sold.

Beautiful. Definitely interesting thing number 7 (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4602055/)
Thanks! Most of us work really hard. It's getting better gradually, and we've got a really great and supportive managment so it should continue!
I don't know why people look down on Respighi. Sometimes he sounds like 50s movie-music, but that's the fault of 50's movie-music, not Respighi!
