See now that I know that the FDT is also an input device of some kind, I can't help but wonder how it is able to interact with the balloon. Is the FDT linked to the room itself by the servicer/owner of the building, and triggers a pulse that disrupts the surface pressed against the floor so that it breaks? Does the FDT come included with a particular brand of balloon as a means of controlling them in many manners, ranging from ease of decoration to convenient quick cleanup? Is the FDT a component of a fancy gadget purchased by Neon that they came over to show off to their new friend after interplanetary/inter-dimensional shenanigans had them meet in the first place? IS THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE A COMPUTER SIMULATION. Does FDT also double as a streaming webcam?

clearly there's a nano-atom inside each balloon which controls how inflated/deflated it is, for hte comfort of all those who want to bounce or recline upon them. but increase the pressure too much and kerpow :O or something

That concept is now on the list of things I doubt I will see come to pass, but really want to be around for. Fun!
