And so I have started another pixel map, this time of Castlevania Aria of Sorrow's whole map. Much like the Super Metroid Map I will be doing this a section at a time, and started with an easy one.

Gotta love that you can see Alucard's coffin from the SotN save room inside the AoS save room as well.
The save room in Dawn of Sorrow wasn't quite as nice. To be honest everytime I save in that room and look at the top-centre of the screen, I can see some anime school boy's face.

More like based off of them.
Basically what I do is find the full map. Then every 16x16 pixel sprite of the map I have to figure out the dominant color of the sprite and thus I make one pixel represent that one sprite.
This is all trickier than it may seem.
I do NOT take the lazy route and simple resize the map.
