I do not know how to feel about this since this is the first scenario I had involving it. Now knowing that life can be very surprising, I hold everyone dear even more, because we never know when they can be taken away.

You were funny, interesting, and a nice friend, and had I known about what you went through, I would have helped in any way possible, even if the smallest discussions brought your day up by a little.
