Valence had spent a week in the service of the demon that controlled Lauren's body, and it had since taken on some of her traits in an unusual fashion. As he bided his time, he noticed the demon preferred female dress and seemed almost to treat him with some affection, however degrading the treatment was. He knew he would have to restore her and purify her form somehow, but now was not the time.

The demon Cthulauren had since converted a female mouse to her species, and the two seemed intent to conquer the world. First, however, they seemed to desire to improve their wardrobe. In a most undemonic statement, Cthulauren declared if she was going to rule the world, she was going to look hot doing it.

Both she and Vikky were distracted by some pretty dresses they had found in a mall. Valence held a box of shoes for their unusually large feet watching them for signs of an opening. Now that their were two, his job would be even tougher. He would have to move when they were both asleep. For now, he remained on his leash, their faithful servant. He studied their mouth tentacles carefully, noticing they seemed to communicate through their motions as well as words in a language he did not understand. It was oddly hypnotic. Soon, he hoped to restore both to their original bodies and himself to freedom.
