Bio: Valkenhein has been Sylvan's butler for as long as she's lived in Rocreach. She "stole" him from the King by making him a better offer which he was happy to accept. He has been a great asset and friend to her, assisting her in staffing her house and keeping it running smoothly while she pursues her research and advises the King. Before coming to work for Sylvan, Valkenhein worked for the King of Rocreach in the palace. He personally served the King and was in charge of the rest of the King's staff.

Originally from Firerock, he spent much of his youth wandering before settling in Rocreach. He left his home and family in Firerock after his father, a minor noble in that land, tried to arrange a political marriage to increase the family's standing. Valkenhein, after expressing his objections to this plan, was given the choice to either go through with the wedding or be disowned. Facing a centuries-long life stuck with a woman he didn't love, he chose self-exile and left with the few possessions he couldn't bear to part with. During his wandering years he had many different jobs: guard to traveling merchants, bartender, shopkeeper's assistant, and others. He ended up serving in a noble house for a few years before being recruited by the king's old butler as his replacement.
