I had to leave dA years ago because the ads got horrible. When I had first got on there in 2006, it wasnt like that at all. I was a plain art site...layout is pretty much the same from 2007 but other than that, it has changed totally.

My DA account laid dormant for over a year.

Mines been deactivated since 2009/10

I made mine 6 days after I made my FA account, so April 26th 2012.

The ads werent in my way, what are you talking about?

the ads lagged the loading of the page for me at the time. I didnt want to deal with that every time....I couldnt afford a premium account status either.

Oh i started 3 years ago

When I started my account on dA, it was 2006...there were NO ads what so ever.... around late 2007 - 2008/9, they started using ads as to gain money and such...they would pop on the free accounts and for a year premium account was $30 just so the ads wouldnt pop up anymore....my phone that I was using for internet access at the time was horrid and couldnt'wouldnt load dA at all because of all the ads....
