Bit of an art experiment, as a stress technique I was trying out. Just a plain old werewolf girl reading a book.
Wanted a change from the usual I'm drawing when it comes to werecritters, which's even why I didn't set it in the "transformation" theme since despite the subject that wasn't my primary goal with this picture.
Mix of inking, marker, prismacolors(highlights that were uncolored by markers in her fur were filled with a yellow-orange prismacolor pencil) and white gelpen.
I've often been feeling inspired by
Genesisw 's own markers work, despite differing style, and I wanted to try some work of my own.
This said, despite this techniqually being a "TF" work, expect to actually see less TF from me in the future. It's always been one of my fear and dislike to be "shoehorned" in a single genre or "trick" so expect to see a bit more variety in my gallery in the future.
Part of the reason I went with this werewolf design in fact has less to do with my liking of werewolves, and half more because of the technical challenge of rawing this design and fur style and the fact it's a design I know most people here would never commission me because it is more "human".
However, since the fur has to be so detailed in this style, I generally thus consider this a great "stress test" of sort for new technique.
Expect to possibly see more marker work in the future, especially as a lot of friends have been suggesting I try more cartoon-like works in the future which marker-work feels like it might be technique for, so stay tuned.
In the meanwhile, I might post a step-by-step of the various stages it took to get to this picture.

Thanks :)
Truth be told is I miss doing this type of work. I do intend to take commissions again, but I'll admit I might take TF out of "things I will do" or limit it somehow so I can better be able to focus on stuff I want to work on and improve again. I'm happy you understand and thank you for the good wishes :)
