A note about the anti-magic bridle, its made to apprehend unicorns, and people who use magic in a like manner. Nahmat, though she has less inherent power, does NOT use magic like unicorns. She uses a style of magic more akin to that of the Krassau, who use not just their internal magic, but the magic of everything around that they can bend to their aid, and magic in Equestira is very bendable. So, combine that with the potency of Celestia's magic, because that's what the bridle is made of, and, well... Oh dear.
Anyone else think Celestia is being a preachy, pretentious butt-head when she's giving her speeches sometimes? Me too.
