Time to take out some rebal scum!
One wonders if working as a bounty-hunter for the Galactic Empire pays well enough...
Hanging out by the Outpost 42 booth (of Wellington, New Zealand), and once again much kudos to this group of dedicated cosplay enthusiasts providing plenty of storm-troopers, bounty hunters and even Darth Vader for the expo/con.
Decided to go in a full-on purple latex "femme fatale" themed outfit, which consists of:
- Latex/rubber full catsuit in metallic purple
- Latex/rubber full face hood with twin long streamer-pigtails in metallic purple & black
- Latex/rubber mini-skirt in black
- Purple corset with lots of buckles
- Leather strapped boots
- Leather wrist cuffs
- S10 gasmask
- P90-TR airsoft gun with silencer
- Thigh holster with straps
Wasn't really going for any particular character to cosplay as, although inspiration was drawn from Selene from Underworld, Catwoman from Batman along with various female characters starring in Sci-Fi fiction/movies and computer games.

Mostly positive. I got a ton of "oh wow", "you look amazing" and... "I would so get it on with that hot chick" (from a fair few fully loaded/kitted out airsoft players). Some even went ahead and touched/felt me up, I guess all that shiny latex is rather inviting, and ask the obvious question "aren't hot/sweating in that suit", which I wasn't thanks to the windy and cold late-Autumn weather.
I think it went better than I thought, certainly gives me the incentive to do it again at the next event/expo/con.
