...Honestly, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind in terms of an 'introductory pic' for my new FA archive, but DA is being a bitch and I want to share. Besides...y'all waited long enough for something. May go to scraps once I do have something I'm proud of.
Now, the drawing and characters? This needs explaining.
The pic on the left was originally drawn in '97-'98 and is part of a larger group of NiGHTs-themed fan-characters (http://yerf.artspots.com/trujnico/ntbzzz2.jpg) that I played around with for a while. They were an attempt to see what some of the low-rank nightmares would look like if they were ever 'promoted' into stronger, sentient Nightmaren. GaliLeo was one of the results, a concept that I tried to play with again...
...in 2006, the one on the right. As you might have guessed, I had zilch in terms of recollection of what the original looked liked and I inexplicably did not consider the idea of looking the pic up again, so I merely let my own pencil (and the soundtrack) re-design him for the new era? Frankly, I still like his old look best, though maybe I could combine both into a 'final' form in the future.
The baby Gillwing? That's Gilly. I figured the old group could have used a mascot of sorts and, hey, chibi Gillwing for the wing--err, win.

and it turns out I had no trouble making it through your entire gallery! ^_^ This is a pretty awesome way to finish it off for me.. and now I must sleep! Before that, however:
I really like this. I'd love to see you make the two into a 'final' form, because I do think both designs are -very- interesting, and worthy of recognition!
