As what started as a little experiment on POVs, ended up as a full on piece.. as usual. Tsk, too long. I really am hoping to ease up and just post sketches next time.

She probably doesn't care that much about squishing them flat because there will always be more where those came from. Would this be a reasonable explanation?
On that note, do you think anyone smaller than her would try to have some fun with her, like sneak into her clothes? Those helicopters might suggest a paradrop, for one.

Heh heh heh, you sure love this subject
Although I admit, I have to disagree that death is necessary to show power or sense of scale. It is a very easy way to show it, true, but death is not hard to do even amongst people of the same size and power. How many games, movies, etc are there of some kind of super soldier/ninja/whatever taking on armies? That same person would not be able to do much to buildings, mountains, etc at his size though.
And yes, as NeoVid knows... I do tend to overthink these a lot, I'm just on the opposite side of the spectrum.

She must really enjoy stomping cities barepaw and getting things stuck between her toes. She always loses the sandals beforehand, and her face pretty much says it all.
There is just so much to enjoy with this pic: The way the tail swerves around the buildings with the fur sticking out and smushing about the buildings, the little guy spying on her, and of course, how Ali's beautiful paws come out every time. I always love them more in action like this.

It sure is! there are a few drawings that link together, for instance in this piece: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/6472212/
you can see the bridge in the distance. These drawings where suppose to follow a written story, but sadly it did not work out.

I really like the perspective you got going here Scream, will be interesting to see if you will go ahead and fully render it
oh and perhaps it would be cool if the smaller macro had a trail of pawprints where he had walked? he must weight several hundred tonnage himself after all ^^ that is of course a nitpick but I think it would add to it

"Merde" Tss! x)
Bon! XP
And her tail! <3 Elle à l'air toute douce! J'ai envie de plonger dedans! X3

Impressive level of depth detail here, even if the city is still in the sketch stages, the level of depth in those footprints looks great. As others said, the way her tail snakes around buildings like that while the fur on it is sticking out is impressive work. I think that's my favorite part about this.
Is that little guy supposed to be scream? He seems to have been making several appearances around Alessandra lately, and I like the level of scale that adds, especially in here where he is still as tall as a huge Hospital but pretty small compared to her. The pose of him peeking behind the Hospital is pretty funny yet feels anatomically realistic.
Although it was a little disheartening to see that Alessandra had drawn blood in this one, even in the images where shes more... stompy... it wasn't depicted that violent or purposeful before.

Im very pleased you like it. And yes, it is in essence suppose to be Scream.
Funny you say that, someone has said the same thing in regards to the blood. Take a another look at my gallery.. the "evacuate" is a good example. For most parts, these have a bit of influence from other people.

Strange, I never really noticed the blood in that one before. Namely because its not there in the "TV" shot of her foot and its kinda hard to tell what the debris are and if its really blood, while there's no mistake here.
A lot of it has to do with the fact that just crushing buildings or vehicles gives it a somewhat more cartooney/less violent look while it suddenly makes the violence more real when blood is involved, especially in realistic amounts like this rather than Mortal Kombat style fountains everywhere, I guess that's why others commented on the blood in this one.

It's not the sort of thing that makes logical sense.
Even with how long I've been into macro/micro, I sometimes have to remind myself not to apply too much logic to it. For a piece like this, I'd rather enjoy the artwork than think about, "If you like smashing things, you can do that without killing people, and if you like the violence, isn't it pointless if they're too small to interact with?"
I still think about that anyway, but that's my problem.

Could someone please point me at a good reference about macro art explaining why people find it so entertaining? I look at this piece, realize the technical prowess and even understand the shiver I might get upon seeing her out of the 20th story office window.
But... she's a psychopath, killing thousands. Previous art suggests that she's a size shifter, has relationships with those smaller than she and even recognize that she has an "audience" even as she kills them.
Where does this come from?
Not asking with animosity. I dig macro art too. Just trying to understand this particular sub-genre of it.
As always, great art Scream!

I freaking love macro, and I still get hung up on the same points you brought up. And yeah, it's more jarring with a sizechanger or someone else who should know perfectly well about the innocent victims. I'm fairly sure part of it is from macro originating from kaiju films, which started as a horror genre about deadly monsters, so that view is still the default.
Since I can't help but think about it anyway, I just keep a couple of workarounds in mind. For one, there's usually no sign that the cities in pics like that are inhabited. Also, macros make more sense with cartoonish physics, and finally, not every pic has to be canon (there would be a major shortage of cities by now, that's for sure).

It's funny, I have seen this explanation crop up a lot, that its all about power and being dominated.
But like NeoPuc said, as much as I love the whole macro thing, I never really cared about one dominating another, and actually dislike the violence aspect of it. I honestly think people who describe it as a domination/violence fetish are grossly over-simplifying it, or just are biased from their point of view (probably because more of the people in the fetish appear to be in favor instead of violent giants instead of against) and that there is more to it.
Both of what you and NeoVid said about Alessandra being unknown and being a size-shifter is also probably why there is always such debate about her. She really has no set personality on being violent or nice (also notice how both NeoVid and I missed the blood in "Evacuate", namely because before this is was the only time Alessandra was shown to draw blood and it wasn't too obvious it was blood, shes been pretty destructive before, but it never seemed on purpose or the violence was detached from death, this one its both clearly on purpose, includes obvious death, and she seems to be enjoying it). It's a little unnerving to think she can be your height and be having a conversation with you one moment, then crushing the population of a city you included enjoy doing it the next; Someone who was always half a mile tall being detached from caring about the "micros" is one thing, one who lives as one of them then grows big and crushes them now and then is a whole different level of detachment that can be disturbing if you think about it (Yay overthinking society!). Nobody (well, nobody who is familiar with his work) comments about say, Yellow07's characters being violent because everyone who is familiar with his work already knows all of them like to crush cities and pretty much all the art reflects that.
.... and as NeoVid said, you really shouldn't think about it and just enjoy the art itself, but like NeoVid also said, I have a hard time not thinking about it
