Logically speaking, yes, but that requires A) knowing which creatures can do that and B) convincing it to do so, which it may well not be agreeable to. Summoning something to beat someone up is easy, they usually like doing that anyway; summoning something to be your personal teleport-bitch is another matter altogether :P
The limit of Kharma's gloves, as he determined in his own early experiments, is around 1,000 miules. The mana he was using in the last few pages wasn't going through him, but around him - so he was able to circumvent the glove's trigger point and do things he normally couldn't, until the aetherite gems in the gloves drained it all up anyway.
Little confusing if you don't catch that the second line flows right to left. I missed the little thing connecting the third and fourth speech balloons, and had to back up to figure out why Kharma's next paragraph wasn't making that much sense.
I see you're using the "No Such Thing As A Free Lunch" rule. I like that. Far as I can tell, not even a god could break that rule. Even with infinite power, you've still got to spend energy to make things happen. Why should magic users get to break a rule that no deity could?

I'm going to put it this way...there's an old saying "Think, and it is." If you think you can...there's a way it can be done. To say something 'can't' or 'doesn't work', to me, makes me want to go somewhere to learn how to break the rules of can and cannot. Whether gods and such can or cannot all depends on the story or legend, and even if they can't, then we should raise the bar and do what they can't.
Just my feelings.
Just my feelings.
*shrugs* I don't wish to trample anyone's feelings, and your sentiment is one I applaud. This is just a law I've observed that seems to hold true even for my own God, Jesus, who's supposed to be omnipotent. Yet it seems to me that even God has to actually expend energy to do anything, especially things like parting the Red Sea or healing people of illness.
It's not that I'm saying this or that thing is impossible to accomplish. I'm just saying you have to pay a price for everything. Both physics and the Bible seem to agree on this point, for you cannot achieve work without expending energy, and even God had to pay a horrible price to redeem mankind. If he could get something for nothing, and he is all powerful, then why would that price be necessary?
I don't want to discourage you from your dreams. Just try to remember that you're not going to achieve them if you don't put some work into it. Even if you just wait for an opportunity, it will do you no good if you don't pounce upon it.
Am I making any sense to you? Or should I reword it another way? ^.^;; I confess, I'm not always sure of my wording. I do love to ramble a bit.
