NEW ART CountnSheep Giftage
Hey y'all,
Gift art for Lori, also known as
CountNSheep. It's her woolsona, as a Force Recon trooper, in my PostWar world. She wanted to look badass, and I figured Force Recon is 'bout badass enough. First time I drew a sheep, as well. Background bits, and nearly all shading is MS Paint.
She's armed with an M-4/203, and dressed in CVC ( Combat Vehicle Crew) Coveralls, and a button up shirt, with web gear and pack.
" I was in Africa, when the balloon went up. I fought my way to Europe, following scattered radio reports of unified command.
There wasn't anything coming out of the States. No radio, or anything. All the SATCOMM stuff was trashed, either by EMP, or the Soviets' laser and missiles.
My unit was down to seven, when we got to Spain, and we followed those reports, across Europe, fighting the whole way. When we got to France, we listened as that unified command collapsed under the last big Commie push, which came apart, too. We had no command, no orders, nothing.
We decided that we should try to get home, to the States. I had to know if my sister was alive.
By the time we'd gotten to Nantes, and found a captain who'd take us, there was just me and two others.
One died on the way.
The Captain of the ship wouldn't go into Boston. He let us off on the Massachusetts coast, and I headed towards Boston.
My unit has died, my Corps is gone, my country is a shattered memory.
I have no other mission, now.
Nothing left, but to find my sister.
I have fought across two continents, and an ocean, to find her.
I will. "
- Lori Wilson, Lieutenant, USMC, 5th Recon Co.
. . . Walking slowly into a fog-shrouded, eerily quiet Boston, after returning to the States to find her sister, Lori scans the area, weapon ready . . .

He's a big inspiration of mine too. I've exchanged e-mails with him a couple of times, he's a really nice guy to boot.
I love the detail in his work, as well as his storytelling. Half the reason I write, rather than draw comics, is because I want to tell stories like his, but i don't have the patience for sequential artwork, lol
