From the pages of TaliVisions #1 comes this fun little scene with Tali, Matt and their modified Jaguar XJ-220 patrol car. In 1993, the XJ220 was the newest, hottest supercar out there, and I figured it'd make a suitably swoopy patrol vehicle for Our Intrepid Duo. In fact, I even went so far as to build a model based on this pic, using a 1:18 scale Maisto diecast XJ-220, stripping the original paint, repainting it in black and white LAPD style colors and baking the enamel in my apartment oven. (grin) Still have the model, too, though the idea of having figures made never came to fruition, alas. The door number is a tribute to a friend of mine on the Philly police force, who, at the time, was assigned to car 37 in the Third District...
