Our new story begins! After coming back from Licksburg (the setting for the previous story, "Personal Diplomacy"), Cpl. Westersloe Winterbough V, magick-user in the service of the High King of Faerie and the Marshal of the Imperial Army is engaged in a relatively simple task: where to actually find housing in the winter capital of the empire? Especially when you have a rather attractive sentient doll who is your servant.

Not really. There's a journal on my profile page that briefly describes the line of Imperial succession. Beyond that, the only way to learn about Faerie is by reading the Ballad at http://adleryoung.tumblr.com
It's long but I am told that it is a fun read. "Chronological view" will start you at the beginning, and it is set up to load only ten episodes per page, so it won't do the browser-breaking "endless scroll" thing that Tumblr is notorious for.
