So here's Rhonda, a cute little kangaroo girl. :) She needs a backstory, and a personality ... ideas?
I'll be pitting her against Sharith and "Dogon" in an upcoming journal vote/contest/thinggie to see who gets front billing. See, not counting Dragonlotus, I have 5 'furry' characters: Rooth'ragon, Rooth'roo, Tomo, Aram, and Cinnamon. I need a 6th, a girl to balance the guys, so all the competitors will be girls. Rhonda here is the last one. :)

This may just be me, so feel free to disregard, but....
I like this one, with a suggestion. She's already got some markings, add more. Go for an aborigine type of look, give her some jewelry and pouches and such, and make her a medicine /wise woman /healer type of deal. Roos already have one built in pouch on females, I can easily picture it acting like an old fashioned D&D bag of holding, where she could pull random wacky stuff out of it. Plus kangaroos have such neat, unique anatomy (though some people skip it and don't do the feet correctly) and her colors are really pretty. I dig the soft, greyish slate blue.

This! All of this. I'm glad I went through my comment history looking for things to respond to.
Dark Natasha drew Rooth'roo in a tribal/shaman kinda style a couple of times on a whim, even though it's totally not his thing. I could totally picture Rhonda not only being drawn that way, but taking on that archetype.
Thanks, D!

LOL no prob. I often stumble across comments people made ages ago that just slipped past me when going through my FA. Glad the suggestions helped. I do hope you'll post her finished design, tribal characters are my favorite....so many cool detail possibilities!
BTW, happy belated hatching day!
