This isn't necessary, some girls prefer wearing one, some don't. It depends of the color of your leotard too, with a white one, it's better to wear some underwears.
But as I said before, I don't need a dance belt, because those one are for boys ;p
For girls, there are camisole, brief or thongs but no dance belts ;)
