My Most Precious Thing
(F5 for larger version)
Phew! The results of my little experimental triptych. For those who missed it, I asked for takers willing to have their character painted with an item of significance to them (the owner). Some things were tried, and we may have even learned about life along the way. All in all, I don't think it turned out too shabby! My thanks to the willing participants!

This is a very very nice triptych I must say, brilliant idea in giving a very unique little insight to each character and their possible backgrounds. I can see the guy on the left is some sort of tribal guy, or perhaps he moved to the towns and now kept a reminder of either his homeland, a loved one or even just his family.
The guy in the middle seems like some sort of classy demon or orc of some sort, perhaps raised well for the first years of his life with a very beloved possession to keep him sane.
The guy on the right, perhaps it's a special arrow from his first days of hunting, a memory of either great triumph or great loss, but a day for when his life changed nevertheless. Or perhaps it is a clue, the way he thumbs it calmly with intrigue makes me think it holds a great mystery to him, of either a missing person or someone he has never met yet, but whom he has a lot of questions to ask for.
Either way, I love this sort of thing.
