Oriental Dragon studies.

These are some study sketches I did a while back for a color piece of mine. The main source I used for reference was a carved statue that resides in our dining room. I rather like the one with the sunglasses and umbrella drink.

It took a bit of turning the thing around. Staring at it really long time and then using my old standby technique of saying "talk to me." to get an answer out of it.
