Out of all the people out there who will use you and abuse you and toss you aside without a thought, there are a few special people will always be there for you. I'm lucky to have a few, and Swizz is one of the oldest and most dependable friends I've ever had. Over the years we drift apart, but never fail to reach back out and click back into our old rhythms. Haven't spoken for years? It doesn't matter. We're still there for each other, and however long it's been since we last spoke, that's just a longer story to tell when we do finally catch back up.
So here's to good friends who always have your back, no matter how busy they are, how weird or stressful or bad life is, and who're happy to share a laugh and a story and just put life on pause for awhile to keep up with someone they care about.
