It's a fight to be social, or at least it was a while ago. Easy to get shot down as a teenager when you do one thing wrong, and if it happens enough you develop an aversion to society no matter how social you naturally are. It took me a lot of hard work to recover from that, but I'm recovering!

I like to think of my pelt as greyish-brown, thank you very much. It's only in the face that I think the age is starting to show.
When I was a younger otter like yourself, the fur was rather a bit browner, kind of like yours. Which also made it easier to walk around topless and make eyes at cute boys.
