It is getting worse: The FA admins and owner have recently decided that photographs of men without shirts are to be banned as being inherently "nude"!

This has lead to a witch hunt that you can see in the Open Violation threads in the forums reporting photographs of guys without shirts.

does that ban cover all art, or just photographs?! if it covers all art, then there goes my idea for displaying my fine-art created in school (stuff that i am much more pleased with compositionally) because it has full male-human-nudity. does this cover female human nudity, as well?
i am incredibly disappointed (disappointed beyond words, really) that someone can display illustrations of a five-cocked tentacle monster raping a baby cougar (for example), but a true artist cannot display paintings of a male nude model even if he is not erect.

Nude paintings and drawings of either sex are still OK on FA! You are completely safe!! (For now...)
The ban applies to photographs and to any "incomplete photomorph" which means any photomorph with any skin showing. I sure hope that this insanity isn't retroactive because I have some G rated transformation photomorphs that show my unfurrified male chest.

I'm a bit sensitive about witch hunts; one of my ancestors was executed (legally murdered) for being a witch during the Salem Witch hunts. *shakes head* it's becoming much more troublesome. i'm sure that some of this is because the owners of these sites want to keep their respective asses out of deep water, they're probably afraid of parents suing them for runnings sites where children can easily access "pornography". HOWEVER, i believe that the PARENTS should be the ones shielding their children NOT THE OWNERS OF THE WEBSITES.

Thanks. I've got to perform a game theoretic analysis. I hope to be able to devise a concept that provides an alternative to FA (but still transparently linked to FA) for those services which Dragoneer doesn't wish to supply (certain aspects of social networking and such unspeakable horrors as men without shirts or even in loincloths) without threatening competition with those services that he is willing to supply.
