Still a bit of a WIP but getting better and better every time.
I finally got the bodysuit finished! Or at least put together. There's still markings I have to figure out how to do, and a bit of fixing up, but it's getting there. I still need to finesse and finish up the wings, (especially where they meet the body at the back), but the bodysuit was my main priority this time and it was a great experience wearing everything together!
Thanks to the guys at Magelight Photography,
tkat for the awesome photos and backdrop!

Thanks! I'd be the same if I didn't have my dad to help me figure things out. But I'm learning that sometimes you just have to do things or nothing gets done! I'm a "think a billion times, do once maybe 5 years later and then see all your flaws and want to redo it" kind of person...
Thank you :) Well, as first as you can call it... A lot of upgrades have been done on the head and wings, and I had done some other heads in the past but this is the first head I actually did properly with shaping and fur. And of course I had some help with sewing and electronics.
I probably need to charge the batteries since RF, but I'll see what I can do about getting a video ready.

I took a video this weekend, I just have to get it ready to post. My dad helped with most of the animatronics, so I don't really know the specifics of the computer and how it works, but I can describe the mechanisms a bit:
Each ear has a servo motor to rotate it which is activated by a sound sensor(so they flick back when there's a loud noise).
The crest is a little more complicated but each feather has a pivot at the bottom and is attached to a wire. Each of those wires is attached to the servo motor at the front of the crest so that when it turns, it pulls the wires to raise the crest. The crest is currently activated by a tilt sensor so when the head(or just the sensor) is tilted the crest raises. I hope that all made sense, I'll see if I can get a good photo of the mechanism for you.
I look forward to seeing your suit when you get it done :)
