*LOL* I dunno, I don't mind the flamboyant part so much. I think it's friggin' hilarious. Again, probably because it reminds me of my boyfriend, who isn't remotely metrosexual or gay, but... yeah. It just somehow works X3 It's the arrogance and long hair, I think ("I could really use a scrunchie... You heard me!")...
*chuckles* It's not always that hard - males are always the wide-shouldered type, and the females are always on the lanky side... although if you look for long hair to signify females, you're in trouble X3 ("I could REALLY use a scrunchie... You heard me! >:E") Hahah, but yeah, the running joke is basically the males are arrogant metrosexuals, and I'm cool with that, I guess X3
The only thing I didn't like about WoW is that the conceptual art for the game looks a hungred times better than the actual in game graphics. At times, it doesn't even seem like they trying to base it off the artwork. Anyways, you did a good job not making the male belf look meterosexual. C:
*LOL* I still think he looks a liiiiittle bit metrosexual, but I didn't want to overdo it. And yeah, the first thing I noticed when I first saw the in-game graphics for WoW was, "Oh, the graphics kinda suck :(" and was reminded of a cartoon. However, I think it works in-game, as the gameplay in most people's opinions makes up for it.
Still love the conceptual art, though. Blizzard's concept art was one of the strongest motivators for me drawing fantasy.
