If you're going for species transition, this would be a lovely choice for you. That or, like, a shark or a hawk or something (I don't really know you by now, but I always pictured you as comfy with the predatory types, and you ain't the generic sort, neither).
Who knows? You want, whatever species you decide on, I'd love to draw you transforming into the new species. I need practice with non-human-at-the-beginning TFs.

Definitely depends on shape.
- When the cutout for the legs don't go as high, like in this image, it's better.
- When the outfit isn't too skimpy and does cover a lot of the body, but not the legs or arms.
- When it isn't the Japanese schoolgirl swimsuit. It isn't cute, and I've seen it way too often.
