Since I've been doing a lot of heavily detailed traditional commissions (posted eventually!), I wanted to do something for myself. I was overwhelmingly motivated to do this in one fell swoop, but lost interest shortly through it. Still love it! But I am indeed out of touch, haha. It's been EIGHT YEARS (8!) since I've drawn this guy (Zigen) traditionally.

I'm so conflicted with the shoulder scales! I prefer that he be human for the top half, but don't want just a "oh, the snake starts right underneath the belt" sort of thing. Haha. I think I'll try a more passive and less "thick" scale design (next time??).
I'm amazed you can see it! <XD I had to darker and rescan twice. I can only really see it if I tilt my head/screen. ♥
