While we were waiting for opening ceremonies to begin on day 1 of FurFright 2013, I figured it'd be a perfect opportunity to get a few shots of myself wearing the awesome Turkish Van cat ears and tail made for me by the very talented

LOL, well, technically I'm not "new" to the fandom per se... I've always been a furry; I just didn't know there was a whole fandom for it until about a year and a half ago, so I guess you could say I'm both old and new, LOL! ;P But no, there's definitely nothing like your first con -- and I can't wait to go again! Next up: Furnal Equinox 2014 in March! :D
LOL, actually no, it's a furry con in Toronto, Canada; it's name is a play on the vernal equinox which occurs roughly on March 22nd and marks the date when days stop getting shorter and start to grow longer again, I believe. :P This year's theme is the circus so it should be lots of fun! :D
