I'm creating and developing a new RPG to pitch and hopefully sell to whatever video game company will have it. This is a series containing artwork of different characters from the story, all of which have been done by a very good friend of mine, whose work I respect very much.
At this point in the story, Jyn has devoured Xamaba and now Olorun. The Keepers have what they think is one more night on Aterea as mortals, for they have just found out that all groups of Keepers who save the world get eternal life . . . as the new Spirits of Aterea. They will gain immortality at the cost of being Olorun's servants who assist him in watching over the people of the world and then have to test the next Keepers. Well, knowing this, the group wants to have one last night to themselves and thus spend it contemplating what immortality will be like. They all look up at the starry sky and see a meteor shower taking place. It reminds them all of the way they were selected as Keepers.
In this picture, Storm is in the middle, holding onto Jobe. Jobe is also in the middle, letting Storm hold onto him. Michel leans against a large rock. Jabu sits at the edge of the cliff, looking up with a bright smile on her face. Vyk stands near the edge while holding Nalan in his arm. Nalan sits in Vyk's arm, smiling and pointing up at the sky to show his father something. Arlo sits atop the large rock. And Ryth stands on the other side of the rock, kind of alone, as she looks up.
After this night, the Keepers head off to face their final fight with Jyn.
