Here is a silly comic I was working for a few days, I'm once again poking fun on some 'thylacines' design like I did the last time: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10286142/
I'll start saying that my thylacine character doesn't have the most perfect and accurate design of the species she is, for example how I make her nose and her tail move, but I've seen so many characters that barely even resemble a thylacine being called as one and just have stripes on the back (there is a few exceptions that are crazy fantasy hybrids so I don't mind about them).
All of the characters drawn here were designed on the spot, I did not get anyone's character for this, but I did used the most common "thylacine" designs that I've seen around dA and fA and then I put my Thylacine character reacting to them.
I really hope no one gets mad at me XD but I hope you guys still enjoy this lazy silly comic anyway!

Vou começar dizendo que a minha personagem tilacino nao tem o design mais perfeito e exato da especie que ela é, por exemplo como eu faço o nariz dela e a cauda dela se mexer, mas eu vi varios personagens que mal se parecem com tilacinos serem chamados de um e so terem listras nas costas (tem algumas exceçoes que sao hibridos loucos fantasiosos entao nao me importo com eles).
Todos os personagens foram desenhados na hora, eu nao usei qualquer personagem de alguem pra isso, mas eu usei os designs mais comuns de 'tilacinos' que eu vi pelo dA e fA e entao coloquei a minha Tilacino reagindo a eles.
Eu espero que ninguem fique zangado comigo XD mas espero que voces gostem desse comic bobo e preguiçoso mesmo assim!

Someone at me deviantart page also said almost the same thing haha.
The first one doesn't bother as much when it's done in another style (chibi/cartoony) but it kinda bothers me when its done on a more 'serious' style, especially the short muzzle.
Second one is definitly godawful.
The third is also awful because people just assume that since they are marsupaisl they must look the same :I and makes me even more sure people don't even bother doing a simple google search.
But yes it can be amusing sometimes.

What really gets me is ones who want to be so accurate they put doggy bits on one..granted this is already a plague affecting the hyena stuff I associate with, but why does everything need to be assumed to be a dog. With thylacines it's so important to get the face right though. If they mess up the face by drawing a wolf it just makes me so angry inside because it's not a thylacine anymore.
You could say that to pretty much any anthro character, most of the female mammals should just have nipples on their belly and reptiles and bird ones shouldn't have breasts at all
Anthros are suppose to be 'humanified' (?) so certain things are changed to fit our anatomy and looks (but I do think that when people put breasts on feral characters it is the most freaky thing)
But since my character was actually mutated with human DNA into an anthro, so she 'lost' her pouch and I don't think it would work very well on a biped xD

I'm not exactly talking about being "100% accurate" (which is said on the description) it's more about the general look, I try to get the general traits an animal has and make a character out of it and still try to make it look like the animal it was based of, while other people go to a more 'generalized' look and make a wolf with stripes or just a kangaroo with stripes and call them thylacines (other animals that aren't very popular also suffer from this).
Anthros are a bit more complicated because you have to break certain things on the anatomy to be more human like (and you break even more the anatomy for certain cartoon styles/look).
So breasts is one of the characteristics of female humans and that is why is so much used on female anthros because it's suppose to be similar to our human anatomy, and the pouch if it were to be on a biped thylacine the position would need to be changed to be similar to a kangaroo or else it would not be practical at all (but in my character's case it 'merged' with her..umm...bits).
Now if it were suppose to be an 100% accurate feral animal then yeah I should keep all the traits in there.
