Hehe. Yus. the Echo was sold in the US, Canada, and I believe Australia. Same platform as the Yaris though^^ Same car xD This bodystyle was never sold there. In Japan it was called the Platz.

Is the strange choose of the car company XP As my car (Fiat Grande Punto) is sold as Fiat Linea in Brazil with the sedan shape!
Oh, here the toyota Yaris have a Holographic digital dashboard (strange to see if you are "following" the car because from outside you see all the dashbord only black XD

xD It was a strange move but.. Toyota figured the Yaris wouldn't sell. And of course.. Now they sell here xD I would looooove a digital dash. would take some getting used to though^^

In my opinion You shuld have no problem to mount it because I'm almost sure that the connection are the same XP

ehehe!! I had the news from the mechanic and.. well, very very bad news... now I have to decide if repair it or buy a used cheap car.. it's dificult! Anyway I'll be without car till the 7 genuary T.T

7 month ago I've hear a biig blow from the engine, as a Hammer hit the head of the engine. Since that day, the engine had some biiig problems, when it was cold it works with only 3 cylinders, it smokes white as a steam train for the first 2 minutes but one times that the engine warms up everything goes back to "normal". But in this last days everything goes worst every day! We have tryed to replace the high pressure pump, the injectors, we've checked the valves from the top and we've changed the flywheel (that was broken anyway) but nothing is changed.. Or better, it's goes alway worst, now the engine die when you reach the 3000 rpm :( Now we have only one thing to do... take off the engine head and check the valves from the bottom, the pistons and every other possible problem.. this mean a cost of 1300€ in the BEST case.. and we are not sure that this will fix the problem of the engine... :(

Oh ouch.. That really sucks hon.. x.x :( I dunno anything about what I am assuming a diesel but.. It sounds like it may be more cost effective to find and install a low mileage used engine.

well, the car is "young" and the engine is a particular tipe (1.25 liters turbo diesel with 90hp) so it isn't easy to find, and the price of a used one is around 2000€, plus the work! >..< I'll have the final word of the mechanic on 7th genuary, then I'll decide.. >..< *hug* X3

* Usually diesel are never ending engine! A friend of mine have the same engine of my car, now it have 489000km without problems! X3 I had all this problems at 105000km ._. And well, sure that if I'll change it I'll buy something more powerful and a little bigger XP And well, you are right! My hopes for the new year aren't soo nice but I really hope that you are right! I wanna trust it X3 And if it won't.. well, I'll see X3
