I really wish I knew, it took me forever just to figure it out on FireFox. To my knowledge, there is no way to check on Internet Explorer. I had tried asking a few "Geek" forums and everyone told me the same thing, "there's no reason why you should need that information." So, ultimately, I just decided to leave it with FireFox.
Ah, actually I found it. I was goofing around a bit with the menu bar.
To find your USERID on Internet Explorer:
1. Hover over the "View" drop menu and click.
2. Hover over "Source" and click.
3. Find the source that was opened and go all the way to the bottom.
4. And FA user ID should be underneath Your IP Adress.

Another method you can use is to hover your mouse over the "Hide Comment" link (DO NOT CLICK IT) and at the bottom of the page, where it shows the url for the link, you should see it display "http://www.furaffinity.net/view/123....._id=10533" and that is your user ID number.
Mine is 10533, so when you look, yours will be different. Invoker ID is your ID number.

Every time I find a new way to get your FAID number, I try to update the description with that newer information. The easiest way I have found so far is this:

It's not an "editable" file. You just paste your stuff right on top. I wanted to keep this as simple as possible, for those that don't have the means to make something nicer (like using Photoshop). This way you can load it into MS Paint, or you can use whatever floats your boat.
