Another fine example what happens when I get bored / annoyed in class.
Originally........ He was supposed to be a gecko.
Then my wife mentioned: " Wouldn't a raptor be more badass? "
Meet Kheg Lieska, a raptor with a flamethrower. Expect more of him someday.
As it stands, it's a basic sketching, featuring his gear ( and a flamethrower on his right hand that makes all of the sense to me and is, or so I claim, functional!) and appearance.
Do note that 'fire' on his incendiary grenade. Clever, huh?

Anyway! I like the design an potential of this very character, combining speed, fire and a raptor in a single volatile package.

I must say they remind me of the Jackals from Halo hehe. But I do love how you put human uniform on this pose of a creature. Again detail in the gear is outstanding. I love the interesting functional gas mask he has on his long muzzle. The feathers are very lovely detailed on him very beautiful. Love the dagger on the shoulder blades. Love the arm caps and knee caps also the crotch package . Love the extra pocket luggage on the legs. Nice job.

He is due to a small redesign & "modernization" after I get time. He originally was a salamander. A salamander!
But raptors are cooler so he is now a raptor.
He does have a very unique armor, and to count in the possible 'fire-resistant' factor it makes up to quite a challenge. That and longsnouted gasmasks.
And that is completely fine, it is nice to see older stuff also get some love!
