My new D&D character, a gnoll (aardwolf based) cleric.
She comes from a tribe in the frozen north that has been warring for generations. She wasn't a good fighter, so to thin the lines, the shaman sent her as a child out to find her destiny with whatever God may bring her tribe strength (read: to get rid of the little brat). Along her way, she came across a caravan that had been raided, and then was promptly found and arrested. They knew she was innocent, however the townsfolk needed someone to blame to keep the peace until the guards could find who was really the culprit.
While in jail, the clerics visited to 'save' the wretched masses, and so she pleaded to them to absolve her, as she was innocent. Being a theocracy, they spoke to the Gods and were told she was innocent, but must stay and learn as each creature is one of the God's children. Sooo, she eventually becomes a scholar, taught by the priests of her deity, and now she's adventuring to earn money to repay the debts that she gained while in the Church, and to pay tithes to her God.

I decided to be a little simpler on the arms and legs than the reference image. Clothing probably doesn't make sense, but then again none of my clothing does. :P
The symbol on the talisman is just random scribbling I did. Doesn't stand for anyone. I haven't picked a deity for her to serve yet.
