Yup. 12. Wasn't actually certain of the appropriate number (supposed to be 8, actually), so I settled on that. They always look like they have more... Squid, on the other hand, can have up to 20, depending on the species, from what I've heard. Maybe I should have made her a squiddie.

Thanks, hun! I had fun drawing it- only took me an hour, too. Heh. Needed a break from the other art I've been doing- or not doing- pulling teeth, lately, trying to get ideas to come. Figures, I'm wanting to get a panel at a Con, didn't have enough art for it, so I thought I'd do some fast pieces... You think I could get anything outta my pen? Blah. Got one piece finished. one Sheesh.

Well, back to 'pad- see what I can do to make at least three more pieces.

Finding inspiration for pieces is the hardest thing, for sure. Do you take suggestions? Not real comissions, just like "hey, i think a ___ doing ___ would look neat" or something.

My mind snapped long ago after a midnight tryst with some un-nameable monster... It was wonderful... I read Lovecraft at an age where my mind was probably far too malleable by the dark lords... I actually found his writing style turgid and heavy, but he was a product of the Victorian age. Never found his stuff remotely frightening, though they were fun to read. My everyday horrors were too present to have a mere story bother me much. *snuggles you and tickles you with her tentacles*
