I've always had designs for Mega forms for some of my fakemon in mind, but I haven't gotten around to drawing them till now. Might be nice to draw them along with my newer Elemental Force members. ...Which I'm starting to lose steam over. ...It's not so much drawing the members themselves that's the problem, it's drawing and explaining their attacks that's wearing me down. ...Anyway...
Dingbatr is one of four Fakemon I'm giving Mega forms to, the others being Kasterious, Nastippo, and Kangersome. If you're wondering who Kangersome is, it's my original Water starter who I have not drawn in a LOOOOONG time. First up, the ugly brute Dingbatr.
This big, gnarly tank is very strong, also intimidating. ...but kind of an idiot. He's Fighting/Steel type (So fairies don't effect him all that much) and his abilities are Intimidate and Unaware. He has amazingly high attack, some very good speed, and decent defense and HP, however his special stats suck. Dingbatr does have access to a few priority moves as well as Baton Pass, but the bulk of his movepool is made of powerful, but sacrificial moves that generally lower his stats when he uses them. Dingbatr can sweep a lot of monsters, but will probably not sweep an entire team as he'll lose steam early.
Dingbatr's Mega form sheds off some of his bulky armor, making hims faster and more mobile, and a little bit smarter, too, but sadly doesn't make him look any less nasty. MegaDingbatr is a bit faster than regular Dingbatr, but shockingly, his Attack and Defense are actually quite lower! The catch? His ability in Mega form. That's right, he gets Contrary as his Mega ability. So while Dingbatr starts out strong but gets weaker after a while, MegaDingbatr only gets stronger. His attack is still commendable in this form as well, so he can still sweep some more fragile enemies from the get-go. Plus, since he can use Baton Pass, he can share his power as well. With MegaDingbatr, you need to find a way to get rid of him early.
