Farel The ... PONY?! by Razia
What what what? Is Farel a BRONY? .... no, no I'm not. I mean, I barely saw the show. So what's with this?
The talented Razia (also known as CyborCat to those more familiar with her videos), offered commissions, so I ordered one............ oh and she and her husband are currently in quite big financial problems.... yeah that might have convinced the guy who's so stingy that he only goes to the cinema once a year and hasn't bought a new console or video game in 3 years... BUT I DIGRESS!
This is some high quality stuff! My gecko looks as he would when transformed into a pony... shocked!
SOOOOO... guys, I'm currently very busy, so if any of you think about commissioning me... it won't work! And this is why you should TOTALLY go to Dena's page and commission her for this! SERIOUSLY!
Character @ me

razia Comment on her page!

And as said before, go and help her out, she could use it: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5345909/
PS: If any of you recognize that cutie mark, you're AWESOME-ish! ... I guess
PS_2: Give me like 5 more years and I might get to watch MLP: FiM heh

WOAH! So someone got it?! I am impressed!!!!
Honestly Simic always go for me since I like Green and Blue so much, so the fact they relied so much on +1/+1 counters was perfect for me.
The general color lineup for me is:
Favorite: G, U, W, R, B : Least favorite
SOOOOOO I guess it's no surprise that Rakdos is my LEAST favorite. But each to his own, so I don't mind that you like it, heh.

ANOTHER MLP hater?
I do plan to review it someday in video form. I just still can't understand why it should be so great or so bad as everyone says.... I saw like 2 episodes and it seems "okay", not the good kind of okay and not the average kind of okay.... just.... okay.

I think any fandom can have annoying people. The furry fandom has them too... and maybe I get so nervous since it's another thing with me going like "If I like this, will you be my friend?"
Then I turn on the episode
Theme song: MY LITTLE PONY
<I start crying and run away in fear>
I might be exaggerating a little, but.... you get the idea!

sort of...except stranger and often more sinister D:
for example there was a blog called.....Princess Molestia.
now judging by the name you can guess the nature of the blog. And it was horrible! it was easy for kids to access if they wanted to look up MLP characters.
so...tings like that bug me. D:
Anime is meant more for adults, this is for kids.

I can see what you mean, although I'm less frustrated and more confused. I see people create their own characters, stories and this goes insane sometimes as one I've seen a video by a person saying that his character existence in the "____ continuity" (I forgot the name) where Discord won. So that means they have multiple continuities in existence. I.... I don't get it! It's not like the TV show has this. They put this onto themselves. "The Multiverse" was a concept in comic books, some argue that it was a good thing as it allowed for more stories to be told, but ... it's a cartoon for little children, it's not that complex to spawn these stories! I get why people are so determine to have their favorite shows evolve further but it feels so pointless.
Telling me that it's show that has some good life lessons, that it's unusual to have such a large main female cast... that's what can motivate me to watch it.... Telling me about multiple continuities and showing me all the drama related to this community..... DOESN'T!

honestly I think the fandom does go a bit too far with continuity. Its a kids show and in the end I don't think little Susie will care if one of the ponies grows wings and becomes a princess or if they become brightly coloured humans who rival Doug in skin colour variety, they're just going to love cute colourful characters bouncing and doing stuff....and then buy the merchandise later on!
Still media for children can be great and even challenge their audience either by emotions or by intelligence, examples like Secret of NIMH, the Land Before Time (the first one.), Neverending Story, Return to Oz and many of the Disney films (the sad pathetic Home on the Range not withstanding), particularly Bambi and Fantasia. I don't think MLP really reaches these levels....its too talky and loud the others I mention usually have quiet moments and subtle moments, sometimes to let an emotion settle or let a scene build, like when Little Foot's mother dies, its really heart rending and very subtle and quiet.
as entertainment for kids it works.
Oh and they released a movie where the main characters do turn into humans, via Little Mermaid style.

I heard of the movie, but fans told me the outrage was unnecessary.
And actually "being good" is not an objectively measurable thing. People do argue that it's rare to see a show where the main cast is full of females and it manages to speak out to all genders and become this popular.

in that light, I guess the show is pretty good. That's the trouble when looking at something, your response is usually biased to your opinion D: hence why I might be a bit snarky about it. I just see something that is really loud and in your face, which doesn't apply to everyone else's opinion.
I do agree that having a cast of mainly females (there are some males too though, like Spike) is impressive. But at the same time I can't really see it as an adult, its just too kid orientated for me, e.g. the ruler is a princess, not a queen. Because 90% of queens in animated children's media are evil.
I still don't see why fans hate the movie, Its obviously a kid's film, nothing harmful either.

I do find the initial hatred for the movie once trailers came out to be questionable. I've seen many great female characters be turned into sex objects by fans in fanart. I felt like I was the only one shocked and offended, because it seemed like people didn't mind.
And then the Equestria Girls trailer came out and people had an outrage at the idea that Rainbow Dash and Applejack have skirts, since their less female nature implies they should wear pants... apparently.
I don't disagree, I see their point, but ... it feels so odd how MLP is treated as the highest ground of feminism. I see that MLP does good stuff in this area, but there's clearly been shows that did much more, and when they did worse stuff to their characters, it did not receive nearly as much backlash as this did, so that I find unfair.
