I'm trying so hard to not have an emotional breakdown right now I…I don't know how I can even word all this my mind is just everywhere and I just--
Guys I really need some help…I need all the help I can get;
Last night we thought Ollie consumed a poisonous plant, we found out the plant my mom had on the counter was poisonous and had bite marks over it, he threw up twice and was yelping in pain. We took him to the vet, and found out the situation was even worse then we thought…It turns out Ollie has a his Urinary Track Blocked…He can't urinate and he's in a lot of pain…The poisonous plant was a coincidence..
Basically I just…I'm in danger of losing Ollie, and I only have a little bit of time in order to gain the funds to potentially save him, the vet bill is to expensive even if my mother and I combined out Christmas money we…Don't have enough…
Ollie is the world to me…In 2009 I lost my first cat Kiari to a heart condition, I became extremely depressed until Ollie came into my life and helped me grow and move on from my loss…And now I can potentially be losing him..If I lose Ollie I just..I don't know what I'll do with myself…He's everything to me;;
I don't know how to ask this of people;; But if there's any way possible you could donate…Anything; Even just a dollar would help me out;; I have to come up with a few hundred dollars in order to afford what we can physically can in order to save him;
I'm sorry guys I'm sorry I'm asking for money; I'd never want to do this but I'm so desperate in trying to save him.;;;

I don't know the exact numbers I only looked over my mom's shoulder to see that the procedure was around $600 but it'll be another $600 to afford getting him to stay overnight in an animal hospital which would be the ideal thing in order to keep him from pulling out a catheter and so that he'll be given fluids to keep him from dehydrating..We don't think we'll get enough to afford that part though;

OMG I'm soooo sorry to hear about this. My cat had this same thing happen to him a lil over a year ago. I wish I had the money to help... but if your credit is fair I'd suggest applying for Care Credit if your vet accepts it. It's a credit card for health related expenses including pet health... if it wasn't for that I don't know what woulda happened to my kitty ;_;...

P.S. If you apply try to get a cosigner... I had limited credit history when I applied so I had my roomie cosign because it is our cat not just mine. Having a cosigner helps... alot.

i know whenever i think about any of my ferrets dying i cry and get really bummed. When my oldest got A.G. disease I didn't know what to do with myself but things got better and I know things will for Ollie too. I'll be spreading the word, try getting a loan, I know in these situations a loan from a credit union or bank can help.

Please just listen to what I'm about to tell you! I didn't just make this FA account for the purpose of being ignored and dis-acknowledged.
My cat gets these regularly, you don't need to take him to the vet, it's a facade they tell you so you have to pay for surgery he doesn't need! My cat Socks in fact has one right now, what you need to do can be slightly expensive but far more cheaper, and I swear if you don't at least try I will punch a puppy. All you need to do is switch his food to anything cranberry related, it has to be made of cranberries, or, the cheaper option, bye him wet cat food and mix a ton of cranberry juice in it. I'm not kidding this works! It will save your cat's life and save you a lot of cash too. At least try it before you go out asking for cash from other people. If none of this works then go with the surgery, I know in the States it cost a lot more then here in Canada.

Oh no :( I'm so sorry you're dealing with this :( I know how it feels a little too damn well. I've got similar issues, only with my girls it's tumors. One of my girls is considered terminal (been trying since October to get this poor girl into surgery), while the other has a benign mammary tumor. It's damn hard and it's very emotional... I'm barely making any cash as it is...if it means anything, you can always talk to me when things seem really bad. I know how hard it is to watch your baby suffer, and I know how hard it is to deal with the loss of a pet... I can't be a financial help right now... but I can be an emotional help if you need me to me.. *hugs you tight* I really, really, REALLY hope things look up VERY quickly for your kitty kitty
I only had about $7 in my paypal but I sent it all to you. I lost my precious bby cat new year morning to an illness and I don't want that to happen to you. I really hope you can raise the funds and that your little friend gets better soon <3 I'll keep the little guy in my thoughts and prayers.
I know it sounds stupid but if you are able to collect cans around your property or easy safe locations. They kind of add up quickly.

I hope you can get the help needed for the poor fella. I know how it feels to loose a beloved pet, so I can sympathize. I wish you and Ollie the best of luck!
(P.S. as someone who is trained in Pet Nutrition let me offer this advice for the future: Cat's are notorious for not drinking enough water. Cats rely on getting most of their moisture from their food, without this moisture it can be hard on their kidneys and urinary tract. Males especially are prone to this if they're not getting enough moisture in their diet. Feed him more canned food, if you're not already. Anything with cranberries in it will help too. There are cranberry powders which can mix easily into wet food, as well as some treats on the market that have it in them too. Dry food is okay, but actually not the best thing for cats to eat despite what some might say...canned or raw is much better, though it can get very expensive at times. Even just half a can a day along with dry food can make a world of difference though.
Just a helpful tidbit. I hope that didn't come off as snobby or rude. ;_; wasn't my intentions!)
