So... I got a new tablet computer you can draw on. Proooobably a big waste of money given my actual skill level, but hopefully it'll encourage me to actually draw more. Here's the first thing I did on it, with Tora today.

And mmm, I do hope you can get one some time. I can report that the Cintiq Companion is a nifty piece of hardware. The only bad thing about mine is there's some flecks of grit between the skin and the protective layer over it -- thought they were dead pixels at first, but if you tilt your head, the picture under them moves -- and at the right-hand hard edge the pen-to-cursor mapping goes weird, just enough to make using the vertical scrollbar with the stylus tricky.
The flecks thing isn't so bad, they're mostly out of the way around the edge. Just annoying. Hopefully if you get one, it won't have that. :P
