Cathlamet
A new character for myself. Meet Cathlamet, a wolf.
She will become a new costume soon, and I was drawing out what I thought she might look like.
There's a few things that will be changing before the character's markings are set, but I want to work within these color restraints. Grey as the main color, brown/grey as a secondary, and cream for the undersides (tummy, paws), with a small lighter colored (probably white) chest/neck floof.
Right now I'm still debating weather I even want rear dew claws or not (Rear dew claws are only on wolfdog hybrids and never/rarely on pure wolves). They would look cool, but not really be accurate "wolf" material. The shape of the face and tummy markings may change as well. I want her to look feminine, so the tummy markings need to be curved more, and the face markings don't quite match up with real wolves' markings, but there is so many variations its hard to decide. Though I do really like the drop-shaped eye markings coming up from the insides of her eyes/forehead. That's one of my favorite wolf markings. :3
She's named after a ferry in Washington state:

Any viewers have thoughts on the markings?
