One of the hardest days of my life today. I woke up to find that Kenobi was not acting like himself and his tummy was big. I knew he must have Bloat (stomach twisted) so I rushed him to the VET ER. They confirmed it and I had a choice to let my almost 12 year old dog go through an extensive and very expensive surgery or let him go.
Putting cost aside I just didn't think it was fair to put him through the surgery to gain what maybe another year? So I made the impossible decision and had him put to sleep.
My best friend for almost 12 years gone in seconds. He didn't go alone me and Frank were right there with him.
I feel so very empty. I am glad I have my Odin to hug and cuddle and take care of otherwise I would be a bigger mess than I am now.
They say time heals all things..but its gonna take a long while to fill this void in my heart.

Im so.sorry for your loss Missy *hugs tightly* Im lucky that i got to meet your awesome boy. He was such a huge sweetheart and had such a great personality too.
I know hes in a better place now. Probably chewing gigantic bones or chasing balls around. Maybe even playing with my girl, Kiara. Hang in there Missy. If yea need someone to talk to im here for yea.
