It's been a while since I'd created a new avatar for my site in "Fur Affinity", so I'd created an appropriate one to coincide with the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia - with my bobcat 'fursona' adorned in winter wear (scarf, wool cap, and ski goggles), as he roots for Team USA (who, at the time of this posting, had already won two Gold Medals - in both Men's and Women's Snowboarding Slopestyle - with more to come along the way).

I did a little improvising on some portions of this image. For example, the stitching of "USA" and the American flag on my wool cap was done with overlapping Courier font type (in red, white, and blue, naturally), while the 'snowflakes' were made with superimposed white asterisks (of various fonts).

Needless to say, I don't expect many 'faves' for this image, as I'll be expecting most of you to be watching televised Olympic coverage in your part of the world. But don't let my patriotism get in the way of my friendship of all of you in my 'watch list'. I'm rooting for many underdog nations to do their best in winning medals... and even if they come up short, the important thing is that each of you had made it into these exciting Winter Games - and there will always be someone out there (besides myself), rooting for you!
