This one came totally randomly, while I was trying to draw something else than... dragons, basicly. I got frustrated after many attempts, so eventually I gave up and started this one...
Dont want to be cocky, but I am a little proud of this one myself! This has so many desings to it that I have just ached to put on a character and here I got the chance! I hope you people will find it interesting at least ~
Ps. He is drooling lava and is standing over an volcano. So imagine his size by that then ^^

Already trying my best to better at my drawing in many aspects! Most of my currently best works are not posted here, so cant yet show my "improvement". Whatever the case, I honestly couldnt cataloque my stuff and work on specifics at certain times. I really hate sketching. x) Thank you for the encouragment though! though!
I am talking to you on the belief that you are serious about illustration.
Forget about talent, its all about acquiring skills one at a time. You have to adjust your mind to new ideas and then apply them. Books have words and those words are about art theory that has been built upon for centuries. You need to read and understand if this is your calling. If it isn't then drop art and start working on whatever you think your calling is.

I do understand that and I intend to become an illustrator at some point. The problem I have with books is that they are just words. Give me a book full of reference and example, not one that is just full of talk! Tried to read an "how to draw fantasy" book once and it didnt help me at all. Telling me where something goes doenst help me at all. I have greatly improved just by using what I see as reference. Thats how I learn ^^
