-Small Warning, the story below does contain some horror and blood, do not read if blah blah blah-


As you approach the Abandoned and decayed Castle, you see vines and moss on the walls, just ahead is the staircase to the entrance, you captiously begin to walk up the stairs, not knowing what to expect but hoping for something to scavenge. The main doors to the Castle have suffered damage, but that makes it easy to enter, with a cautious push, the doors creek loudly open, As the light enters the castle, you see skeletons on the floor, possibly of the old inhabitants, knowing there is better stuff in the rooms, you enter, leaving the door open.

You throw down your backpack, shuffling around in it and pull out a map, closely examining it, it shows parts of the Castle, you decide the throne room should be your last destination as it is the closest, you examine the northern parts of the castle on the map and see that there are rooms, you think it's a good idea to go there first, you fold the map and place it in your pocket, grabbing out a flashlight.

As you journey deeper into the Castle, you find more skeletons, their skeletons determine them to be feral animals from the forest, you walk around them, trying not to step on them as you enter your first room, the room appears to have nothing valuable besides some swords, you take one off and examine it, it appears to recently have gotten some blood on it, fresh, You think to yourself that there maybe something in here still or could be from a previous scavenger, you place it back and begin to look in the other rooms.

After 43 rooms looked in, you decide to give it up, but before doing so, you find a room that looks more intact than others, it seemed like it was locked but it no longer was, you slowly open it as you see many horrors, what appears to be a skeleton of a wolf hang from a meat hook, 3 dragon heads all on spikes and several fresh corpses of Sergals. not wanting to stay in any longer you run out, you vomit on the ground in disgust, you feel chills as you no longer wish to remain here, you decide you need to get outta here soon but you wish to take something valuable first.

You walk towards the throne as you pull out your map and investigate it, but you hear a crunching noise, you instantly pause and look around, seeing nothing you sigh of relief, but for safe measures, you unhook your gun, slowly raising it as you held the gun in your hand and the flashlight in the other, the noise is no longer around but you hear small scurrying noises, thinking it could be rats eating a corpse, you continue on, but you suddenly hear loud thumping and steel being dragged across the stone floor, you stop and turn off your flashlight as you realize it's close, leaning down to crouch, you see something, it appears to be a 7 foot creature dragging a 8 foot battleaxe, you hold your mouth as you look in horror, the creature turns it's head to reveal it's some sort of dog like creature, but it no longer has eye sockets, most of it's fur and flesh has been eaten away and it's ears ripped off, only having one arm to carry the battleaxe, it continues walking forward, dragging the axe with it, you sigh of relief again and take a shortcut to the throne room....

As you enter the Throne room, you see mounds of corpses, skeletons on the walls hanging by shackles, several bodies hung from the ceilings and a throne, covered in blood and almost 11 foot tall, with a dragon head skeleton ontop of it, you feel very weakened from just entering the room, you crouch down as you feel your legs almost about to give up on you, but you don't know why, you continue on past the corpses and throne, after passing these, you find a giant vault, swung fully open, you enter it but as you do, your legs just give to the pressure, you feel as if your blood is being siphoned out of you, very weak and faint, you drag yourself towards a pile of gold, thinking that this is all you need as you don't want to waste another second, you grab it all and head out, dragging yourself out.

As you do however you see several creatures, they are completely black, at least at a height of 8-9 feet and very thin, they look to your direction and scream, your eyes widen as you realize they are running towards you, they reveal their mouths are largely open, eyes missing and devoid of any other feature, you raise your gun as you force yourself to stand up, you take aim and fire at the creatures, they fall one by one but one manages to grab you, you wrestle with it but it's barely any use as the creature raises it's arm and tears out one of your eyes, you kick it back and scream in pain, the creature screams back at you, it runs at you again but you kick it back again and shoot it, the creature falls down silent and you slowly but weakly make your way to the exit of the Throne room.

You know this is enough exploring, as you head towards the entrance of the castle, sighing or relief that this nightmare is over, the doors slam shut, the entire hallway goes dark and your flashlight goes off, panicking you hit the flashlight a few times, barely able to see in the dark with only one eye, you lean against the wall, bumping into a torch that appears to be useable, you shuffle through your pockets pulling out a lighter, lighting the torch, you sigh softly, standing back up and heading towards the entrance once again, you hear the thumping and the loud dragging of steel, that 7 foot creature you saw before that is carrying the battleaxe walks in front of the doorway, it turns to you and points, you try to turn around and run for it as you know it will be too slow to catch up, you turn tail and around, looking back as you run to see that it has faded you run into something, you fall down and look up, you see a face of a sergal as it growls deeply, almost demonic, you try to raise your arm to shoot it but the sergal rips off your arm almost cleanly, then attacks you, tearing into you like a rabid dog, the last thing you hear is "Welcome to Valengrad".......... You fade out.


Writing is so much bloody effort ;~; but finally got all of it down, sorry for it being such a generic horror but my mind is outta place and I thought why not do it based on the Castle Sadius lives in currently with his father.......

Anywho, this was a portrait piece that was drawn by  sidgi I really do love this picture, brings out the "I want to eat you" look in me :P
