Personality:
He's a skittish little guy whose always nervous around others for the first few times he meets them. He normally has an emotional guard up, as well as a physical guard at the ready in the form of vines almost always at his feet. Kudi is very naive however, especially with those that have earned his trust, to the point that he's likely to believe clouds are made of cheese if told by the right person.
He is highly curious when at a distance and if he finds something does not seem harmful, will blindly end up touching/smelling/even eating it to figure out what it's purpose is. Rarely angered, he can turn into a bit of a monster when pushed past his limits and even then it'll take him some alone time to get over it.

History:
Kudi does not know much of his origin, other than what the forest has told him; he was abandoned there by a cloaked figure, left for dead as just a cub. Fate would have it, the forest itself provided for him enough that within years he would grow into a healthy young guardian. For many years he was even able to return the favor of saving his life by providing the forest with it's own needed nourishment; corpses for fertilizer. The forest taught him how to cry for help, tricking any unknowing traveler into running themselves into a man-eating plant, impaling them on roots, or into quicksand to get swallowed by the earth itself.
It wasn't until a Druid Shaman named Ram entered the forest in hopes of finding the cause of such horror stories that things changed. The wildegon spent the next year in the forest, most people who knew the man was entering the woods where many disappeared did not think anything of it when he hadn't returned. In that year however, he was able to see through Kudi's deceptions, with the help a little black magic of course. By the years end Kudi had given up on trying to kill the stranger, having tried everything and failed, but instead looked at him with deep curiosity.
One night, the little monster dared to get closer to the large sleeping beast only to find himself trapped; his legs chained into the ground by some previously unseen shackles. He struggled to get free, the forest having told him this sort of thing would happen if he got too close.
Minutes turned to hours before he was thoroughly exhausted, which was exactly when Ram seemed to awaken. The conversations started one-sidedly, but after some time both shared stories of their lives. Kudi, not realizing until Ram had pointed it out, had been freed from his holdings for quite some time during the talking. Before parting, the hybrid promised to come back the next night, which he did... and every night after that as well. END~

Quirks:
He can understand/talk to MOST plantlife.
He does not control the plants, but has earned their assistance for years of providing food for them.
He's primarily carnivore.
He eats watermelons... as in every part of them.
He doesn't know how to peel fruits (oranges, bananas, etc) and normally ends up squishing them in frustration.
