The file goes in layers. Lines are in the top and I also divided the body, tail and hair in different layers to make it easier for everyone :)

Well, it's not working out for me. I'll try to figure out why.

You using Sai? The file holds a folder called Free Base, open the folder and all the layers are there.

Will it open/work in photoshop?

No but Ill make a photoshop file if you need one :D

When you open it it should be somewhere on the bottom, a square with a Japanese looking symbol, please do not erase it. ^^
