Oh my! It looks like Liane wasn't the only huntress in the woods today. And one thing she forgot when hunting a fox barehanded. The natural born predator has a distinct advantage! However..............The enchanted forest doesn't care for strangers waltzing in and eating one of it own creatures, and it has ways of getting revenge! I predict a short but very eventful future for this particular foxtaur.

Whae a clever story, so deliciously illustrated by the talented and creative Doodlepad!! It's so wonderfully witchy and macabre. And Doodle does such good work on critters like foxes and deer. Love that foxy facial expression, not to mention that big saggy belly bulge swinging beneath. Everybody like fat foxes and, with a centaur, you get twice the tummy!!
N'Goro looked at the... package with suspicion. It was an oddly shaped and colored box with two rather conspicuous earlike flaps sticking out of the top. it was making odd noises and seemed to have punctured and drained a juicebox he'd left there that morning. He groaned. No doubt it was one of those idiot whites mailing him something stupid again. They meant well but they just had *no idea* what was actually needed. he remembered after the last storm he'd been mailed hundreds of hand-knitted warm sweaters. They'd been no use in the heat, didn't fit anyone anyway and were eventually used as doormats. He still had a hundred left over. His thoughts stopped; suddenly he felt a very powerful urge to open the box. It was almost... hypnotic.
There was the rustle of cardboard against cardboard, the sound of something running away very fast and then a single strangulated scream.
The rabbox was full again. It was very happy.

Then things go from spooky, to outright terrifying! While I can't condone the eating of rabbits, I can't help but feel a tiny bit sorry for the poor vixen, as it looks like she's in for a very bad night indeed. Though, again, the artwork is spectacular and I love what she's done with all the evil faces, especially with what Liane's cottage has turned into. That's enough to give anyone nightmares.
He he.....I guess you can imagine that I don't like being eaten either, but I just had to give this that turn about cause I knew it would throw some people. I don't feel one bit sorry for that dang foxtaur either! She deserves whatever my enchanted forest gives her. It's so rude to just rip up and eat raw someone who at least was going to give you a nice easy and civilized transition from woods creature to delicious cuisine. Don't you think?
In my original description of this second picture I never mentioned anything about bringing the forest and cottage to life. That was all Ellie's idea and she just sprung it on me with the finished picture, like she did Liane's bug eyes made to look like Sally's in Nightmare Before Christmas in the first picture. My idea was just to have the vixentaur prancing off licking her chops. I think it's a much better picture Ellie's way and I'm really glad she took the initiative to do it.
