Ladies and gentlemen! And furries...finally, after a few months of work, the super secret sprite project is completed! And yes, it's a game, a very interesting game too. Only if you read my story Rise of the Alters I'd let you in on this, even all the inside work to get you ready...only 1 person on FA did.
But here is it, 6-bit Pixelforce! It's called 6-bit because of the 6 characters you can choose from. And yes, the females don't have clothes, but it doesn't matter since you can't see any bits.

bimson worked on. And visits his adult site for other good flashes.

Well, after a bit of playing it I think I can submit now a good comment.
It is a GOOD GAME. Very playable and interesting. Pretty good music and enemies taken from several classic NES games. But... but... thats all what I can say good about it. Of course there are multiple characters but everyone plays the same so it doesent matter (at least me) much. Some bugs here and there (hit boxes annoyed me the most), but it was muchly expectable. not to mention the unbalanced difficulty level, some levels were a "snoozing" ones and other "omg!wtf?die!"
For me the game sufferd the Q4 syndrome... looooooong developing that turns you to think "omg! so long in producing, so it will be ultra-awesomest game evah!". But when it finaly cames out and you see its nothing innovating, you can only say "oh... it turned out pretty good" and forget it after a month. In my humble opinion if you would praise te title so much as "my top ultra secret project!, but call it just a "game" and develope it in a month time, it would get much more better scoring from me.
Maybe the reason of why I do think that its good, but nothing special is because you put so many "teaser" sheets, including the rape-machines, tentacles and stuff like that, which never hit this version... may I ask why? You could always do 2 versions of it. Adult and non-adult for Newgrounds. Honestly, for me the biggest let down about this was that you play with a "naked" GENO (once more... GENO!) and she isnt raped through whole game even once! Srsly? WTF??? XD
Anyways... do an adult version and then I'll praise you ^_-

Like I said...it came out a lot differently than planned...it was originally going to be an adult game, but...bimson changed his mind on that and already started on this...
That means the work I put into the advertising and stuff and the robots was basically for nothing!

BTW, there's a sequal to this one that might be made, but again, non-adult. If I'd knew there'd be no rape, I'd put Coyoteka instead of Geno. But anyways...turns out this game is more popular than Bimson's other flash that WAS all about rape and stuff like that, this was more popular than the Minerva run game (not as liked, but more interest) which WAS a run and rape game!
And since Bimson decided to cut the furry porn from now on, I doubt there will be an adult version unless there's someone else out there willing to work on this with me. Here's why Bimson stopped.

Every two areas you go through and the boss' room, there's the checkpoint. The knock back will be fixed so i's not that much a push, but that's just all games in general. Invulnerability isn't to last long, makes going through the level too easy, it's just enough to get by the enemy that hit you.
The adult version will address some of these issues since it's not a flash game but it's own game program. I'm still holding auctions if you want your character to be put in it, last week to bid though and it'll be the top two bidders.

lets see...the music goes good with the stages , as for the movement , its good , thought its kinda hard using A for weapon and S for jump X3 (im too used to try A for jump or the space bar instead Xd) , not bad dude , its really good , and LONG LIVE TO MEGAMAN-STYLE!!! *w* , faving it ASAP , i hope i can do something like this someday X3

That's your fault! This game is HARD! You know, when games actually didn't cater to PUSSIES or people that needed to beat Contra 3 on EASY MODE, like Chris Bores! NO! This game will punch you in the balls, tell you to suck it up, then feed you nails!

Besides, don't like it, read author comment about it. And yes, the game IS that hard as I described though...exaggerated of course. Only way you can really beat it is if you know what power-ups to use and where, which is again, Bimson's doing. Couldn't make what I said sound any more overblown and dramatic even if I put in a battlecry. Sheesh...
Alright, Kazu... First of all, I'd like to say that this is a very ambitious title. that being said, in it's current state, it's not very playable, and is in fact, very different from the Mega Man titles you've tried to mimmick, mainly due to the platforming mechanics. the first thing that threw me off is how fast your characters jet rocket around when they move. it's VERY easy to overshoot things because of the speed, and what compounds this problem is the fact that the platforms themselves are very strict on where you have to land to get results or where you have to be standing on them. more times than not, I';d miss jumps thinking it was like Mega Man and I could kinda land with one foot on the platform and one foot off. coupled with the inability to make percice landings because of the speed you move makes for a rather tricky cocktail. Having a slide mechanic is nice, but I haven't gotten far enough to apply it yet, apparantly, as for the most part, it doesn't seem to move you any faster than walking does.
THen comes the other mechanic of this game, the shooting. This is comapritively slower than Mega Man, as your rapid firing ability seems to be on a set timer and not how many bullets are on screen. the rate of fire is slow, and the enemies seem all unusually healthy. The bionic commando soldiers that rain from the sky take one hit in that game with the crappy weapon. Here, they take 3, and come in swarms. more often than not, I find myself not wanting to waste my time shooting at stuff since i can just run at mach 2, and I try to either just run through or platform around the enemies. this is where a new number of problems arise.
You cannot control your jump height. when you hit that jump button, you're going to slowly rise up, and then drop just at that same lax speed the moment you hit the height of that jump. you also have not nearly enough invincibility time, It's just fast enough to where you don't have time to react to an enemy colliding into you before you have a chance to move and avoid a second hit with even more knockback, but just enough to where touching an enemy doesn't insta-sap all your health away. this of course, does not stop you from falling with an enemy and just getting sapped, or having the knockback JUST push you over the lip of the platform you're on because it's not nearly as big as it is in other platformers.
Further even, the lack of checkpoints is painful. stages are devided into 5 parts, and the only checkpoints you get are half-way through and the boss fights, according to a comment I read. perhapps the extra weapons balance things out by making the enemies complete whimps or by having an actual rate of fire. that isn't a bullet every 2 seconds.
Maybe I'm being unfair... this is a flash game, and it is indeed ambitious. Then again, I've played games like Mega Man Vs. Metroid and that one Super Mario Bros. flash game that's a remake of Super Mario Bros. with other characters...
Maybe I just suck? as stated above, this is meant to be a homage to old school hard as fuck games... then again, I've beaten some of the more harrowing ones of those. I've beaten Battletoads!
Maybe I'm just jaded... yeah, that's probably it. : <
I'd still say It's a passable flash game, especially for being a 2 guy development team and on such a short development cycle... but hopefully for the sequel, you take the time to frame a better working engine that feels a bit more natural.

My programmer decided to change at the last minute from making it an 8bit porn game to just a intensely hard 8bit game. I say intense because even HE found it hard and he has some pretty high standards...
Shooting trying to kill enemies is just about useless here unless you get the power-ups. Two of them you NEED in order to beat the game, or at least the plasma.
I'll save time and just mention that my programmer did this whole thing in flash, and it's noted he doesn't always do the best there, you can check his other games to see what I mean. He even dislikes using it. But thankfully...we're using a Gamemaker engine for the next game in the works AND it's the 8bit porno game that this should've been. The enemies will be more balanced according to amounts of hits to kill and also tentacle rape. I... figured as much when you linked to ToonPimp. @_@;; The sprites were done well where they were custom, although having the graphics so stretched out in the Bionic COmmando stage was a bit odd, but I understand it was done to make the platforming there a bit harder.
