The Corvo Class Galaxy Exploration Cruiser was conceived and built by Starfleet Command in the earth year 2296. The U.S.S. Corvo (then NX-12914) was created for long range galaxy exploration missions beyond the edge of our galaxy. After a successful first year, the USS Corvo received her official NCC-registry (NCC-12914). 11 other vessels are currently planned for this class between 2297 and 2299.
