Got my "skin" and costume for Laila-jini, so of course I had to take a million photos in it! >u< I got a bunch of gypsy gear for her since I imagine her character as a dancer. Cannot wait to wear her around some cons.

Hey.
If you're going to criticize something, which obviously has a LOT of time AND talent put into it... I suggest actually taking the time to write out EXACTLY what you weren't "thrilled" about.
However, it seems to me that if you're going to take your time to give critique to another maker's product, it should be on the product submission from the ACTUAL MAKER. NOT the BUYER.
That is sort of a bold... and rather rude move on your behalf.

I believe She may have already stated such things in PM to the maker themselves, instead of publicly making a spectacle (which, btw, is what you are doing)
There was nothing wrong with her comment, the owner even thanked her.
She used a proper method of commenting, which is something I do believe you should study up on.
She said "well I wasn't too thrilled"
But then added positive remarks, Such as "the outfit really brings it together, looks awesome"
Which is a decent way to do such things.
She never said anything out right insulting. And even if she were to bring out why, she has the tact to do so IN A NOTE.

Okay, I feel the need to step in here because this is beginning to get out of hand. This comment is directed to all three involved here.
For anyone who is not aware I am the one who made the head that is being discussed her. I do partially agree with Cynical that I would like to know the reasoning behind Wahaneta's dislike for the head but only because I would like to be able to improve what she may find lacking in my future creations in order to provide my clients with a better product. But I do think that the way in which this was approached could have been done a bit more calmly, gently, and with more tact.
I understand Mochacorgi's reasoning as well but while your hart IS in the right place you are essentially doing what you are accusing Cynical of by the very way you have responded to him.
The only issue that I have with the original comment here (Wahaneta's) was not the fact that she was unhappy with the head but the fact that she chose to express that here. Please to not misinterpret that as me taking insult to what was said. I was more disheartened simply because this is a piece that the commissioner spent a good deal of money on, and as far as I know is very happy with it. I felt bad that something was said that could bring down how she feels about it when the very nature of her posting these pictures was to show how good she felt about it. This goes for any post of this nature weather it be made by Candyfizz or any other individual who posts something they have purchased wanting to show it to the world. It is one thing to tell an artist, "hey you could improve this" or even "this sucks dude" but when you tell the person who bought it "I don't like this" it not only makes them feel bad about it but it does nothing to improve the quality of future works made by the artist.
I hold no ill will toward any of you and wish you all the best. Everyone had valid points and opinions and I hope mine is not taken poorly.

Honestly, this was a more Mature response than your friend here.
However There was no need for Cynical to fling themselves at Wahaneta like so. All in all, they completely ignored the compliments that WERE given, in which the owner Acknowledged. I don't understand why people only focus on the negative, which wasn't /that/ negative.
All in all, if you were unhappy, then please, don't let your friend's, or followers speak on your behalf like so. Note the commentor, this is all highly unprofessional. And no one likes dealing with fans like such.

I was not aware the comment was made until I composed my own response just now. I do not encourage "white knighting" or ask it of any of my friends or commissioners. The single comment I made was in a private conversation as was regrettably misinterpreted as me taking personal insult to what was said and that was not the case. I am sorry that this happened but at the same time I am not a babysitter or a pier mediator and to not wish to be treated as such. I do believe at this point however you are adding just as much fuel to the fire and that everyone should simply back off as this topic has already gone far beyond what it's life span should have been.
Which I would Understand, you aren't a babysitter to all 2895 watchers you have.
The biggest difference in this case is, this person who is indeed "whiteknighting" you, over someone not being thrilled, is a friend. Someone who has you listed as such on their page, who leave personal comments on your page. THAT is why this was highly unnecessary and unprofessional
Thrilled also doesn't equal dislike. I can be not thrilled about a chocolate cake, and still eat and enjoy it.

The statement I made about disliking something was meant on a broad spectrum and not meant to be limited to this situation alone. I am sorry if it came across as I was exaggerating what she said. That was not my intent.
I do believe that this should be put to rest now as to continue it would indeed be unprofessional of BOTH of us. If you want to delve into this deeper you are more then welcome to hash out out with me privately. My Skype is Keeatah.

But I never said I didnt like it! I just wasn't thrilled by it but I am now that I see the whole outfit together. I don't think that can be compared to someone saying "this sucks" regardless I apologized for my comment after the stink cynic made for it. My gosh this has gotten out of hand.
Yes it really has. I really had no ill will meant and you have handled yourself quite well here. My issue like I said was a little one and if I felt that it was important enough to bring up I would have done so in a PM. This is why I try to stay away from threads like these as they tend to snow ball. I am sorry this has gone so far out of hand.
